Now that I finally have Art Homework, here is what my assignments look like!

In High School, Art class was very simple and not a lot of time went into it, so all my other art was mostly for fun. Now that I am a college student though, part of my homework is to do whats fun for me!
"Draw A Still Life"
"Draw a still life with objects that have significance to you" was my first assignment, and this piece is what came from it. Although it was just a pencil drawing, I hadn't really tried full page still-lifes before this. Drawing objects that held significance to me did help to make this drawing more interesting, and I was even able to carry this still-life concept onto canvas for my first oil painting :)
Even through the weirdness of Zoom university, I have still been able to enjoy my classes as I study something that I enjoy. I am blessed to have all the supplies I need, and even an extra desk area to work on all my artwork. As the semester progresses, I find that although I wish I could have class in a studio, working from home has been nothing new for me and it is completely possible and does not impact how I work.
Hopefully, by the end of the year, I will be able to see how my artwork has progressed and show my improvement!
