Packing List
Here is the list of items we recommend to bring (and not to bring!) on the pilgrimage.

Since this trip is meant to be a spiritual journey, we recommend packing light and simple. This allows you to leave material worries behind as much as possible and focus on the changes going on within. For five days of travel, we recommend the following (which we have found can all fit reasonably in a large backpack or small carry-on).

NOTES
-
We will be entering multiple churches and holy sites, so please take that into account when choosing attire. These sites often ask visitors to respectfully cover their shoulders and wear at least knee-length bottoms. Please avoid graphic tees with loud designs.

-
Because we will be in the city, we recommend bringing a small day-time bag which you can carry in front of you at all times. If you bring a draw-string bag, we will instruct you to wear it in front of you to guard against pick-pockets.

-
While the sun can be strong in Mexico and we ask you to bring sunglasses and a hat, it can also get chilly indoors or when the sun goes down. Please bring a light covering for these occasions.

-
Finally, bring shower shoes for the communal showers we will use in the hostel. Towels will be provided. Because of the hot weather, it is custom in Mexico to take a refreshing shower daily.
